Our mission
The Digital Competence Partnership is a project carried out by two partner organizations – Międzynarodowy Instytut nauki, Kultury i Biznesu (Poland) and Arrabal-AID (Spain).
The main goal of the project is to establish a partnership to improve the digital competences and skills of 10 members of the University of Generations, which operates at the International Institute of Science, Culture and Business in Poland.
As part of the project, we built Digital Laboratory and organized trainings and workshops for project participants (target beneficiaries).
The project meets the assumptions of the European Union strategy for sustainable and effective adaptation of education systems and training EU Member States to the realities of the digital age and is part of “Activities in the field of digital education for the years 2021–2027 “. The project lasts 12 months. The trainings in Poland started in June 2022 and will last until October. In August, participants will be trained by a partner in Spain – Arrabal AID association from Malaga – which has its own Digital Laboratory and extensive experience in the field of informal and non-formal adult education in ICT.
Participants of the classes improve basic digital skills, skills in the field of searching for and processing information, they will learn how to counteract disinformation and how to move freely in today’s digital world.
The main priority related to the project’s objectives is consistent with the Communication from the Commission to the European Parliament “The Digital Compass for 2030: The European way of the digital decade” – ensuring citizens acquire digital competences in all areas of social life in the EU.
